Mary-lou Pittard studied Fine Art at the Phillip Institute of Technology in the early 80’s and majored in ceramics. The love affair began and she has worked full-time as ceramic artist ever since! She is well known for her brightly coloured and highly collectable decorative stoneware that includes a huge range of both functional and exhibition pieces.
Mary-lou has creates work for exhibitions in Australia and overseas and is committed to encouraging others to evolve their creative capability through the immersive experience with clay. She has worked as an Artist in Residence with local schools and Shire Councils producing large scale ceramic murals and smaller class room projects and is an exceptionally experienced and warmly encouraging ceramics teacher.
