Kim Martin

Kim Martin holds a Master of Arts and is a practising artist, teacher, curator, competition judge, freelance writer and critic. She has exhibited regularly since 1974, solo and in numerous group shows.

Kim headed the Ceramics Department at RMIT University and was the Course Coordinator for Ceramics and Visual Arts at Holmesglen Institute in Melbourne. Her work has been showcased in venues such as the Craft Victoria Gallery, Lyall Burton Gallery Melbourne, Mornington Peninsular Regional Gallery, National Gallery of Victoria and the Newcastle Region Art Gallery. Her work is represented in many prestigious collections including the National Gallery of Victoria; Art Gallery of Western Australia, Victorian Ministry for the Arts; several Victorian regional galleries; the Jewish Museum of Australia and the City of Whitehorse.

Kim Martin teaches in our Intermediate/Advanced Wheel Throwing program.
