We’re opening our doors to the public on Sunday 8 Nov, 10-4, as part of the Australian Ceramics Open Studio – a nationwide celebration of clay and the people who love it!
We’ll have 30minute wheel throwing lessons to get first-timers on the wheel, and a collaborative ephemeral sculpture happening in the hand building room. The studio will be open for wandering, questions, and connection! (And to get on our waiting lists for 2026!)
We know not everyone gets to be part of a creative community like this one. The thing about Slow Clay Centre is the warmth, the realness, the way working alongside practising artists and committed students changes how you think about clay. This day is our chance to share that with a wider circle.
Bring your friends, family, kids, and yes, even pups! Whether you’re brand new to clay or a seasoned maker, we’d love to welcome you into our space!
